This mission statement sums up Backen Consulting. I believe we can make a significant contribution to the sustainability of our planet if we do not give up or give in. And if we do this without compromising on principle, we can make an even greater impact.

I have worked in this industry for 30 plus years and have experienced the ebbs and flows of energy efficiency. Those of us who have a passion for this industry know we can still make a difference if we persist. Energy efficiency should always be the first clean energy option.

Dave Backen, Principal โ€“ A focused, goal-oriented energy industry professional, having worked on both the utility and consulting sides of energy efficiency. My background includes experience in company leadership, sales, marketing, sales management, business development, account management, strategic planning, fiscal forecasting, program and project management, and community relations. I am a passionate, enthusiastic and high-energy individual who relies upon integrity, honesty and trust as the foundation for creating and managing long lasting client, employee and community relationships.
As a small company, we are able to take on even the smallest of projects that others may not have an interest in pursuing. We nurture all of our projects and programs, small or large, with the same care to detail and to client needs.
