Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a senior level Outreach Manager for the Energy Trust New Buildings program. The role involves establishing and building relationships in local, regional, and national markets. You will manage and promptly resolve customer concerns and record and track customer interactions in accordance with Energy Trustโs procedures. The role also includes:
- Verifies product installations and that all paperwork received is accurate and complete.
- Sells technical products/services, trains on technical specifications and program requirements, and communicates program changes.
- Develops strategies to drive increased savings acquisition.
- Works with engineering and program to research and analyze current and future technical specifications and requirements.
- Prepares sales forecasts.
- Troubleshoots technical issues, determines a solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends solutions.
Qualifications
- Energy Efficiency Programs, Project Management, and Lighting Solutions skills
- Client Account Management and Relationship Building skills
- Experience in implementing energy efficiency initiatives
- Knowledge of building technologies and solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in the energy or sustainability industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Relevant industry certifications are helpful
This position is an independent contractor role. I will entertain an employee role for the right person, but Backen Consulting successfully engages and employs 12 independent contractors currently so we have a prosperous model of success.
